Firefall Europen servers added for this weekend’s beta event

Tuesday, 4th December 2012 19:16 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

European servers have been added to Firefall in anticipation of this weekend’s beta test. Last week, Red 5 Studios performed a dark launch for the servers, and found them to be stable enough to put live this weekend as part a stress test. While there will still be a few “kinks,” the firm said the addition should result in less lag for those on the continent. The MMO first-person shooter is set for a PC release in 2013. You can sign up for the the beta here. Via Polygon.

Firefall is SUPER fun. And lately it’s been really easy to get into the closed beta (i.e. you’re not restricted to these crowded, laggy stress test weekends) because they’re handing out extra invites like candy.

@2 (or anyone) do they have a squad finding/joining interface yet?

One of the reasons I stopped playing the beta (aside from shitty connection to US servers and lack of PvE content) was that the only way to form squads was to ask for an invite or volunteer to start a squad, other wise you’re thumping solo (impossible in the good locations) or not getting anything out of it (waste of time).
