Dead Island: Riptide release date & pre-order details confirmed

Dead Island: Riptide is heading to a ‘shore’ near you early 2013. Get it? No? That was awful, sorry. Publisher Deep Silver has confirmed the release date for Technland’s island-hopping zombie adventure, along with pre-order incentives. See all the fine details below.

The release date was confirmed to VG247 as April 23rd 2013 for USA and Canada, and April 26th 2013 for the rest of the world. Gamers can now pre-order two editions of Dead Island: Riptide from various outlets.

The Pre-order Edition comes bundled with an exclusive weapon mod pack, while the Special Retailers Edition comes with the weapon mod pack, an alternate character skin and different box art.
