Steam Greenlight adds 21 new games

Valve has approved 21 more community-championed titles for release on Steam through its Greenlight process.

Valve had promised to approve ten games but apparently decided to more than double that goal; the service has received upwards of 3,000 submissions so there’s plenty to choose from. The games added represent quite a range of genres, and include established indie favourites like Octodad and fan community efforts like Yogventures! I’m personally pleased to see narrative adventure The Stanley Parable in the mix.

Visit the Greenlight pending page for information on the new additions and those added in the last wave.

  • Afterfall InSanity Extended Edition
  • AirBuccaneers
  • Blockscape
  • Contrast
  • Fly’n
  • Folk Tale
  • Forge
  • Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (Project Giana)
  • Gnomoria
  • Interstellar Marines
  • Lost Story: The Last Days of Earth
  • Miasmata
  • Miner Wars 2081
  • NEOTOKYO
  • Octodad: Dadliest Catch
  • Perpetuum

A lot of good stuff there. I don’t mind a few oddball titles on Steam either.

Will Cry of Fear, The Stanley Parable and Black Mesa remain free I wonder?

I like them as mods, but I think I’d only ever pay for Black Mesa.

I hope Folk Tale is good. The world needs god games.

Loved Octodad.
It was like 3D QWOP with plot and a weird ‘stealth’ element.

I wish it well.

@3 I’m not sure the bot can hear you mate, especially after a smack from the ban hammer.
