Wednesday, 3rd October 2012 12:06 GMT By Dave Cook

NBA 2K13 has pop-youngling Justin Bieber as a hidden character. This is not a joke.

The warbling pop singer revealed his inclusion on Twitter, “Shoutout to @Ronnie2K for putting #TeamBieber in #NBA2K13. Im running the pt. #SWAGGY”

Here’s a SWAGGY screenshot:

What’s ‘Swaggy’?

For all those gamers that, for years, wanted gaming to be accepted as a mainstream form of entertainment: I hope you’re happy.

I wonder if like Pokemon you can level him up and evolve him into the Eminem form?

Now I know why I won’t buy NBA 2K this year.
I hope there is tackle button somewhere though.

This is cool, as long as we get to see his spindly legs crushed by Dennis Rodman and his arms ripped out of their sockets by Bill Laimbeer…

What marketing genius came up with this? I’m pretty sure the target demographic of game does NOT include too many Bieber fans. This is like putting first person shooting and gore in Barbie’s Horse Adventure or Farmville.
