Software development titles launch on Steam

Valve has announced various Software titles have launched via Steam, which marks a “major expansion to the platform known as a leading destination for PC and Mac games.”

The titles are:

  • ArtRage Studio Pro
  • CameraBag 2
  • GameMaker: Studio
  • 3D-Coat
  • 3DMark Vantage
  • 3DMark 11

Many take advantage of Steamworks features along with the ability to save your work to your personal Steam Cloud space.

GameMaker Studio, as one example, features integration with Steam Workshop which allows GameMaker users to share their work ob Steam.

To celebrate the launch, all Software titles on Steam will be available for 10% off throughout the week.

As long as they aren’t steam exclusive i’m cool with it.

They really need to section it off, like they have with games and DLC.

There’s positively no reason to show me software when I’m there for the games :P
