Wii U: all EU, US and Japanese launch games confirmed

Nintendo has confirmed EU Wii U launch titles, as well as detailing those that will be available in the “launch window,” ending March 2013.

Games will cost $59.99 in the US, according to Nintendo.

All EU launch games:

The US line-up is as follows. It wasn’t specified which of the games would launch alongside the console and which would appear in the “launch window,” which ends March 31, 2013.

  • 505 Games -Funky Barn
  • 2K Sports- NBA 2K13
  • Activision – 007 Legends, Black Ops 2,Transformers Prime, WipeOut 3, Skylanders Giants, Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013, Rapala Pro Bass Fishing
  • Capcom -Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
  • D3Publisher – Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game, Ben 10: Omniverse, Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade
  • Disney Interactive – Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
  • EA – Mass Effect 3, Madden 13, FIFA 13
  • Frozenbyte – Trine 2: Director’s Cut
  • Gaijin Games- Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien
  • Majesco Entertainment – Zumba Fitness Core
  • Maximum Games- Jett Tailfin
  • Namco - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition, TANK TANK TANK

Nintendo Japan also confirmed all its Wii U launch software today.

First-party launch period games:

Third-party launch period titles revealed for release in December:

  • Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
  • Orochi 2: Hyper
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition (with added Nintendo-themed costumes, including Mario, Luigi and Link outfits)
  • ZombiU
  • Assassin’s Creed III
  • Rayman Legends
  • Batman: Arkham City – Armored Edition
  • Mass Effect 3
  • FIFA 13
  • Monster Hunter 3G HD Version, also to be offered as part of a software bundle

And other, undated titles:

  • The Wonderful 101
  • Bayonetta 2 (a Wii U exclusive)

So march 2013 for MH3GHD is included in the launch window … thats a loooong launch window. By that time the first E3 rumours should arrive….

Decent line up. But, like everyone else, I wonder what games are this holiday and what ones are late winter/early spring.

Any idea if there is a digital list of games? I assume that these are all retail boxes.

With the exception of Bayonetta 2, it’s a shitty lineup. That is a big one, though, as long as it remains exclusive.
