Final Fantasy 7: full story recreated in LittleBigPlanet 2, minds boggled
LittleBigPlanet 2 player Jamie Colliver has spent the last six months developing the whole of Final Fantasy 7s story in the game. File this one under ‘awesome’.
The entire story arc plays out over 20 LBP2 levels and features the game’s Active Time Battle system. It’s bloody impressive.
You can check out the full arc over at Colliver’s YouTube channel, but here’s a sampler:
Thanks Eurogamer.

That’s why LBP2 is the best platforming game ever. Thousands of amazing levels for free. What more do you want from a game?

if you think controls bad for lbp2, then you can give up gaming right now.

@ all above – I love LBP, but I kinda get where they’re coming from. People who aren’t used to it seem to struggle with the perspective shift between ‘layers’, and the platforming itself can be somewhat infuriating at times (due to controls – or the way your avatar moves perhaps).
Agree with #1 though. Superbly versatile and great value.

@4 Why give up on gaming when there’s 10000 other games with fine control.

I would have to go with what Deacon said.
The LBP games are wildly creative in that you can create so many things. But the controls are sloppy at best. Always kept me from fully enjoying the game. That being said, I own both LBP releases.

Not quite the HD remake the fans wanted, but fantastic nonetheless
