Kojima ‘sick & tired’ of Project Ogre questions, confirms it’s not MGS: Ground Zeroes.
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes definitely isn’t Project Ogre, Hideo Kojima has confirmed. He also wants you to stop asking him what it is.

Kojima tweeted his displeasure at fan questioning while at PAX Prime in Seattle.
He said, “While I am happy to know people liked “MGS Ground Zeroes”, I’m sick & tired of people keep asking me like “is that project Ogre?” here in Seattle everyday. Project Ogre is what the project that Ogre appears. Ogre does not appear in “MGS Ground Zeroes” trailer.”
So there you have it, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes isn’t Project Ogre, shadowing CVG’s report this morning that it is, in fact, Metal Gear Solid 5.
We’ll have more as it happens, but for now, visit our Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes all access page for every rumour, fact, screen and trailer from now until the game comes out.

I give Kojima a pass only because he single-handly defined my younger gaming life with ‘to this day the most epic MGS1′ game but he needs to understand fans only ask because there interested in what you do not to purposely upset the man.
But then again with that said I know what journalists are like and tend to embellish shit so I wont go there.

I’m a bit confused here. I thought he was indeed going to be revealing Project Ogre. And then he goes and shows another fucking MGS game?

I thought “Project Ogre” was simply the codename for the first game to be made on the Fox Engine. I had no idea that there actually was an Ogre, nor that Project Ogre would only be such if it featured said “Ogre” which I know not what it might be…We probably need ogre memes, now.
