Ghost Recon Online now in open beta

Ubisoft has thrown open the doors on free-to-play shooter Ghost Recon Online. What are you waiting for?

To get on board the three-class shooter, which earned a positive report from our hands-on session, you need to sign up for a UPlay account, or if you’ve already got one, just download the client and jump in.

To get the ball rolling, Ubisoft has introduced a weekly misson scheme. The first is called Eagle Eye and challenges players to maintain an accuracy of 15% over five matches. Those who succeed will score a rare Mark IV armour insert.

New missions are promised every week, and will be detailed on the event page.

Thanks, Blue.

I’ll download it if it doesn’t need to have the actual UPlay client to run it. I wont instal that crap on any of my PCs.
