Rapper and NBA team co-owner Jay-Z executive producing NBA 2K13

Rapper, producer, co-owner of the New Jersey Nets, and husband to bootylicious Beyonce, is apparently executive producer of NBA 2K13. Life of Riley, eh? 2K has yet to issue a press release on the matter, as of this post, but a video posted below found by G4 seems legitimate considering Michael Jordan is doing the voice over. NBA 2K13 hits stores on October 2, 2012.

I take this as good news. The man knows his NBA.

Could bring new life to the franchise (or it could spoil a good thing); time will tell.
