Rumour: Steam Sale list surfaces

The contents of the Steam summer sale, the event that gamers simultaneously love for its discounts and fear for its wallet-emptying potential, have been posted by Reddit; head through the break for the as-yet-unconfirmed list.

The list comes from Content Description Record Database, that holds a record of every Steam game. The list, which has not been verified by Valve, suggests there’s to be an 11-day indie sale as well as a host of familiar titles from the major publishers:

Indie bundles:

The Steam summer sale was confirmed last week, though exact dates and details are yet to be announced by Valve.

    IF it’s confirmed it sure is disappointing.

    Anyways if that’s the final list I may just purchase the remaining DLCs I miss for Dawn of War 2: Retribution, Space Marine and Saints Row: The Third.

    This is only for SKUs created for the sale itself. People seem to think this is all that’s going to be on sale, but obviously it’s not, there’ll be the normal selection of standalone games.

    The Bundles are rarely worth it if you’re a big gamer since you’ll tend to have picked up the best of any particular bundle individually along the way anyway.

    It’s the deep discounts on individual titles where you get the value.
