    Almost as hyped about this game as Batman: Arkham City. It’s ridiculous how much I want to play it right now. And of course, Europeans gotta wait for Friday.

    I’m a bit more cautious due to Beenox handling it. Their previous 2 Spider-man games were promising works that ended up disappointing me.

    On the other hand, they’ve shown that they care about the source material and character. Combining that with the return of Spidey to open world games is rather promising. If nothing else, the web swinging the rush mechanic look seriously fun and could end up like Spider-man 2 game where bad combat and missions got overshadowed by other parts.

    @2: Agreed.

    I just played Edge of Time two weeks ago, and that was definitely a sub-par game. Even Shattered Dimensions was better than that. Edge of Time had a decent story which SD lacked. On the other hand SD had great artistic value with four different Spider-Men in their own really different environments. That’s really what made me finish SD. Both games suffered from tedious gameplay and repetitive environments though. It looks like that has been addressed in TASM though to some extent.

    What’s funny is that The Amazing Spider-Man looks to be much better than SD and EOT, and TASM was the one with limited development time! I guess they needed a few tries to really make a good Spider-Man game?
