DOOM 3 BFG Edition to release in October
Bethesda has announced DOOM 3 BFG Edition will arrive in North America on October 16 and throughout Europe on October 19. The title features the re-mastered versions of both DOOM 3, the Resurrection of Evil add-on pack, and seven new levels of content entitled The Lost Mission. It also contains the original DOOM and DOOM II. It will run you $29.99 on PC and $39.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Whoa, that’s pretty damn steep. I would’ve expected a 1600 MSP XBLA title.

Yeah, them releasing this as digital only title cheaper would have been cool. Releasing it at this price in disc format 10 years later, not cool.

But it will be HD enhance or not, like all the HD collections, because in my eyes thats a more deal breaker issue than physical or online only.

What boggles me is the release date, why announce a HD Version of a previous games nearly 5 months before the release?
