Sony undecided over whether it will attend gamescom this year
Sony’s Guido Alt has said Sony has yet to decide whether or it will be attending gamescom this year. Speaking with Games Industry Germany, the SCE’s German communications director said the firm is still deciding whether it “makes sense to exhibit at gamescom every year.” He continued: “We are still negotiating with Koelnmesse. What I can say is that we did not sign a contract so far.”

They’d better sort that out, otherwise that’s Sony’s one chance to make up for the Vita E3 fiasco pretty much shot.

@2 TGS won’t get the mainstream coverage that E3 generates. What’s the point of a great Vita line-up being revealed if only well-informed hardcore gamers know about it? This was Sony’s chance to get great Vita press in both regular and specialist media, and blew it big time.

Didn’t they close the entrance in 2011 because of too many people visting GC? No BigN no Sony. WTF?

Sony is in big trouble i guess.
So what’s left for the Vita then? Liberation, CoD (without any trailer) and ports not going to cut it.
Imagine if Ubisoft or Activision will cancel these games…
