Jury finds for Epic “on all counts”, Silicon Knights hit with $4.45 million damages
A US jury has sided with Epic Games on all counts in the suit brought against it by Too Human developer Silicon Knights.

According to a tweet today from Epic’s Mark Rein: “Case over. Jury finds for Epic on all counts.” Rein’s tweet suggests Epic prevailed in the counter-suit it filed against Silicon Knights.
GiantBomb reports Epic has been awarded $4.45 million in damages.
The two firms have been embroiled in various legalities since 2007 when Silicon Knights alleged Epic refused to provide adequate support for Unreal Engine 3 and used license fees to fund Gears of War’s development.
Silicon Knights’ chances of a win began to look shaky last week when it came to light that a judge had ruled the developer’s claims were worth just a few dollars.

This was a stupid case from the get go.
Was obviously just of case of a dev trying to blame someone else for a failed project.

Yeah, it was sheer desperation from the get go. Silicon Knights took a sad situation and made it pathetic.

Not only did SIlicon Knights lose the case. They also have to pay Epic 4.5 million. Ouch. SK should just go move on to mobile games.
