Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 launching on August 21

Namco Bandai’s announced it’ll release Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 on August 21. The City Interactive FPS sequel will use CryEngine 3 to power the game, making it “the most authentic sniping experience to date in a video game”, according to Namco, who is distributing it in the UK, Greece, Italy and Spain.

It’ll launch on PS3, 360 and PC.

i don’t normally mix games up but i have to think for a good few seconds every time i read about this and Sniper Elite V2 as, to me, they are the same game!

I played the demo of Sniper Elite V2 thinking ‘this is an improvement on the last Sniper Ghost Warrior but why have they gone back to World War 2?’

i was very confused. Then it clicked.

@1 Yea I think that every time I see one of the names of these games. Hopefully this one improves over the the last, I didn’t play the original first-hand, but I heard it was rough around the edges with the sneaking and the AI. Looks so good though :/
