Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 coming in June, new gameplay trailer revealed

Coming from CI Games has revealed more information about Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 and released a new trailer for the game, showing off its trademark gunplay.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 promises to take advantage of next-gen tech to allow for 1000m+ sniping – a perfect challenge for players that enjoy picking off targets from ridiculous distances.

The sequel will revolve around a dramatic campaign set in the Middle East, where you'll play as contract sniper 'Raven' through five "distinct sandbox maps" featuring a variety of fully accessible, interactive areas that you'll be able to tackle in multiple ways.

The game is due to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC on June 4 2021 at a lower-than-ususal price point of $39.99/£34.99 on consoles.

If you're familiar with the series, you'll note that maps are designed around being replayed many times, so approaching targets and missions in new, creative ways is all part of the fun.

If you pick up the game on PS5 or Xbox Series S|X, you will enjoy full native 4K resolution and improved loading times.

If you pre-order the game, you'll be able to unlock some bonus in-game items:

Pre-orders will earn the following bonus content, though seemingly only at retail:

● Marcus Tactical: A light sniper rifle with great stability
● FFF-45 ACP Luring Pistol: A sidearm with special luring ammo
● Two Weapon Skins.
