Red PS3 landing in the UK starting May 4

Those interested in a red PS3 should note the console is leaving Japan and heading to the UK on May 4. The console sports a 320HDD and a matching, wireless DualShock 3 controller. Amazon lists it for £250, while Play.com has it listed for £240. Other stores should have it soon as well, as retailers were give the go-ahead to start listing it yesterday. Thanks, Eurogamer.

I never see the point in releasing new colours this late in the product life cycle. Surely if you haven’t picked one up by now then “now in red” isn’t gonna sway your decision.
