Skyrim patch 1.5.26 available now through Steam

An incremental patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has popped up for PC players.

According to the Bethesda Blog, patch 1.5.26 is somewhat lightweight, but it does fix an issue with plug-ins causing crashes.

The patch should be automatically downloaded through Steam; restart your client if you have any trouble.

The crash issue is a PC-only affair, and the rest of the fixesare largely cosmetic, so console gamers aren't missing out on much.

That said, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers are still waiting on patch 1.5, which is a big deal; Bethesda notes that the patch has been submitted for certification, so we'll probably see it within the next few weeks.

In other Skyrim news, everyone keeps talking about this video, so I'll throw it on in.
