Myst coming to 3DS, possibly this month

Maximum Family Games appears to have polished off the DS release of Myst for a second airing on its hardware successor.

Seen in action in the trailer before, the 3DS port doesn't seem to use many of the console's features, forsaking gyro controls and stereoscopic 3D in favour of stylus action on the lower screen.

The trailer comes from out of the blue so we don't have much information, but it puts release down for March. As Siliconera notes, retailers have it listed for as late as July.

Myst is a point and click adventure which first released in 1993 and has been ported and re-released numerous times. It is considered one of the classics of the genre and was strongly influential on many atmospheric, narrative-driven games to follow.
