Midway Arcade App now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch

Warner has announced the Midway Arcade App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, which is a collection of 10 classic arcade titles, is now available on the App Store for $0.99.

The complete Midway Arcade collection includes the following titles:

  • Spy Hunter
  • Rampage
  • Defender
  • Joust
  • Root Beer Tapper
  • Arch Rivals
  • Skill-Based Games: B Pool, Air Hockey, Roll Ball and Basketball

Players also have the option to purchase additional classics through In-App Purchase.

These titles come come in a Fantasy Game Pack and a Action Game Pack. The former includes: Gauntlet I, Gauntlet II and Wizard of Wor, while the later unlocks APB, NARC and Total Carnage.

Players can also compete against their friends, earn achievements and participate in leaderboards.

  • Midway Arcade titles vanish from XBL Marketplace [Update]

    Update: Well, that didn’t take long. The Major has tweeted that the Midway titles being pulled from XBL Marketplace can be directly attributed to “publisher evolving rights and permissions”. Don’t worry though, he says that if you purchased one of the deleted games in the past, you will be able to re-download it again.
