    Oh no you can’t!

I signed up for this as I’m just not using my 3DS and wanted a Vita. It’s very deceptively advertised. I was told that the “Price you pay” was dependent on a Pre-order being placed and therefore having already put down a £25 deposit. So add £25 to the prices above as the real cost.

If you can follow it up with Game to clarify I’d be grateful Johnny as it could all be a misunderstanding by the staff – though they said that is how things have worked in the past. They were very clear.

Bizarrely they wouldn’t take the 3DS yet either – they tested it but I have to keep hold of it until launch :/

I work at gamestation and can tell you that the pre-order money will be deducted when you buy the vita and the reason they wont take the 3ds from you now is because it has to be traded when you buy the vita in the same transaction for the price to drop down.

So if you pre-order for £25 and then take your 3ds in on launch day you will pay £74.99(wifi) or £124.99(3g) hope that helps.

In other news I was given a vita and seven games and I am very impressed so far.

Excellent – thanks for the response. I did query it when they said but to be fair to them they had a number of confusing communications to sift through to work out what was what themselves. I will make sure I pay the cheaper price.
