iPhone 4S sells 4 million in 3 days

Apple's announced this afternoon its sold 4 million units of iPhone 4S in its first three days on sale worldwide. The phone, already available in seven countries, will launch in an additional 22 countries on October 28, and will be in more than 70 countries by the end of the year. In addition, 25 million people have upgraded to iOS 5 on iPhone, iPad and other compatible devices, with another 20 million signing up for new cloud storage service iCloud. Sales of4S is, according to Apple's SVP of Worldwide Product Marketing Philip Schiller, "the most ever for a phone and more than double the iPhone 4 launch during its first three days."
