I just played the demo. It’s actually quite good.

Your right, I also tried the demo and really liked the cinematic feel of the dog fights and the scene at the end of the demo was really surprising too.
Probably won’t buy it though.

Sorry, this is a Good Game, being released at a BAD TIME!!
If this would have come out around the Summer Game Drought, I would have bought it, but there are just way too many games coming out in the next 10-12 weeks, and I have very limited Finances, so this is a pass, until it is $19.99 US in 30 days.
Stay Frosty My Fiends!

Not sure about the choppers but the new style jet combat was great in the demo, more fun without abandoning the core flight sim mechanic.
Agree with #5, while I will be buying this myself it means I wont get something else. More dev’s need to take advantage of the summer lull.

There’s a fine line between genius and madness, and Ace Cobat Assault Horizon swings both ways. The action-oriented dogfight mode in jets is brilliant jet simple. Unfortunately, the developers included helicopters as well, and piloting them is tedious. Ace pilots will surely grit their teeth and sit through those mission, though, just to get more of the dogfighting action.
