Yoshida: Vita to have external battery option
Sony WorldWide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed PlayStation Vita will have an additional battery option which will extend the handheld’s charge.

“If you have noticed, we have just announced the peripherals for PS Vita. And one of the peripherals is the external battery. That extends the battery life of PS Vita,” Yoshida told IGN in an interview at TGS.
“So if you’re flying from New York to San Francisco, or vice versa, you have no concerns if you have an additional external battery.”
It comes as it was confirmed by Sony after its TGS presser on Wednesday morning that Vita’s battery life will be 3-5 hours in terms of play-time, with a maximum of nine hours when on music playback.
Vita launches on December 17 in Japan and early next year in the US and Europe.

Lists the portable charger
Considering the prices of the storage cards & the fact that it comes with no internal storage, & that games are going to take 2-4GB each, anyone who wants to buy their shit digitally is going to be broke.
