PopCap releases Plants vs. Zombies hip hop video

So much of the news out of Tokyo Game Show is so big and serious that we figured we’d kick things off this Australian morning with something a little lighter. A rap video from PopCap, starring Crazy Dave from Plants vs. Zombies.

It’s the sort of clip that you expect to be advertising something – new DLC or a new platform for the game perhaps – but, as far as we can tell, the fellas at PopCap need no reason to rap, with Cray-Z taking to the mic like a pro, for his rendition of “Wabby Wabbo”.

I do have on good authority that the iPhone version of the game has just been updated, bringing mini-games and the Zen Garden with it, but – unfortunately – there is no bonus hip hop feature. Not yet, anyway. If enough people like Wabby Wabbo, who knows where this could take us?
