Rumour: PS3 exclusive Eight Days gameplay footage leaked
A video has emerged on YouTube of what appears to be gameplay footage of SCE London’s canned PS3 exclusive Eight Days. The video states that the footage is “pre-production work-in-progress” and starts off in a level in the desert, showing off the game’s cover system at work. It also features gun fights and ends off with a chopper mowing down buiildings. The video isn’t very clear but certainly seems legit. If Sony has something to announce during their GamesCom presser, we’ll be there to cover it live. Watch it after the break.

I’ve seen this footage before, suspect it’s old stuff from when the game was in development.
A cinematic TPS like this seems redundant now, given that Uncharted does it all so well.

It’s possible this specific video is freshly leaked, but it appears to be from the same build as the footage that come out back in ’09. The game itself was canned years ago.

^ That’ll be due to the fact the game was… “canned years ago”. You cant really release ‘new’ footage of something that doesnt exist any more…

Heres a little food for thought; sometimes journalists re-introduce things in order to stir up ‘speculation’ for certain things..usually when they have been tipped off about something..maybe?

to me it’s just another shooter with no new gameplay features:/
just another 3rd person shooter with good fluid animation and deeper detailed physics….nothing more:/
