Apple currently testing 4G LTE phones

Internet super-sleuths are reporting that Apple is currently testing phones with 4G modems, which could potentially be a great sign for iPhone online gaming

iPhone gaming is great when all you want to play is Words With Friends, but if you want something a bit more substantial like N.O.V.A. 2 or Real Racing then you’re practically forced to lash yourself to a wi-fi connection.

Which is why any iPhone gamer should be pretty thrilled about the prospect of Apple releasing a 4G enabled iPhone. The combination of the awesome iPhone development community with a competent online-anywhere platform could yield incredible results.

It’s unknown if the 4G phone is the next iPhone rumored to be released in September.

If you care about how the sleuths figured out there’s a 4G phone being tested, check out the report from BGR.

that is actually can bring a nice advantage over VITA.

VITA requires wi-fi for the multiplayer. 3G is not enough.

4G isn’t enough either… Theoretically yes but in the real world, only people right in the major cities will be able to use some of it’s true potential, I could just imagine all the dropped games etc.

I’d rather they keep that kind of crap away from situations where it can effect another users experience like games until they’ve got the connection strong enough to work flawlessly, browsing is fine, streaming is (normally) fine but not gaming.
