Rumor – Blockbuster UK list has PS Vita down for October 28 release

A Blockbuster UK flier has PS Vita down for an October 28 release in the country, if an advertisement sent in by an IGN reader is authentic. According to the listing, the handheld is also down for a release the same day in Europe. Sony told IGN Vita would get a “phased global release” this holiday season, but failed to confirm whether Europe would be part of this phase or not. Blockbuster has yet to get back with IGN on the matter.

@2 It’s not proof by any means, thus rumor, and I am too nice to say “smells like shit to me” in a post. I wish I could. :D :D

I think because of 3DS price drop, Sony will consider of releasing Vita sooner than formerly said.

Seems like a really strange data to have as a place holder though.

But isnt it pretty much fact that retailers know just as much as we do when it comes to release dates?

Also what are people making of those prices??
Thats nearly as much as a ps3 and i was considering getting the 3G version too…..

$250 converts to just over £150 so there throwing another £70 on it for ???
i know they normally lob a bit on top for us because of Vat or something xD but come onnn, give us the Wifi only model at £200 or less please!!
