Massive Steam sale begins today
There’s a big group of discounts up on Steam today with a huge crop of high profile games getting price cuts for a limited time.

These aren’t ho-hum B-list games either. The highly acclaimed Witcher 2 and Portal 2 are both 33% off, Medal of Honor is down to just $10, Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition is $7.50, and Bit.Trip.Runner is $2.50.
Believe it or not, that’s just the very tip of the iceberg. There’s a whole lot more where that came from. Be sure to check out the sale and pick up some awesome games.

It’s not a super epic one. The last year of sales hasn’t been amazing, but my pick of the day is Borderlands GOTY (includes all DLC) for £7.50.

@1 My thought exactly.
I’ve just purchased Solar 2 and TDU 2 for 5-6 euros each.
I don’t know what’s next. Oh, my poor credit card…

I don’t know if it’s good for us, but Steam servers seem to be sinking from the HUGE traffic, lol.

The only way EA Origin to compete with Steam except for their exclusive stuff is such madness and I doubt EA will do such things as often as Steam.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of wallets suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

I bet that, right now, Gabe Newell is swimming in a swimming pool full of (digital) money.

@9 I second that. Anyone who doesn’t buy the Witcher 2 is a rotten egg. Or doesn’t spend nearly enough on hardware, either way.

).. and didn’t finish any (except portal 2)
Somehow I tend to enjoy buying Steam games more than playing them…
I have 13 games (most indie and all bought on promotions

Yesterday I’ve spent 34 euros for:
- Toki Tori (for the competition)
- Lead and Gold (for the competition)
- Recettear
- Test Drive Unlimited 2
- DoW2 Retribution – The Last Stand Complete DLC pack
- Solar 2 (it’s fucking awesome)
- Hoard (purchased at full price, 3 hourse before the sale started, I’m actually punching myself in the face since I’ve discovered it)
- Hydrophobia: Prophecy (midweek madness promo)
I’m ashamed, I just have 54 euros left in my CC (actually 12,99 less because I’ve ordered a guide on Play) and THE SALE HAS JUST BEGUN…

guys, seriously, make a list of games you intend to buy and you wont have the problem of buying games you hardly play. oh and play some good games and play them, then you wont want to play any average or random games.
