AMY tech demo is quite eye-opening

Lexis Numerique has released a short tech demo trailer for upcoming survival horror game AMY, presented by the game’s director and Flashback creator Paul Cuisset.

AMY tells the story of a zombie plague aftermath: a young woman struggles to survive with the aid of a mysterious little girl.

Although scheduled for digital release for around $13, there’s no questioning Amy’s production values – just look at the effects in the demo below.

I’ve dropped two screens and a new piece of art down there, too. AMY’s due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September.

Third person game? Sure seems like it in the first screenshot. Really interesting this one.

Yes It is a third person game. Some people have called it ICO with Zombies.

for those who don’t know this game will cost 13 dollars and releases on July only on PSN

what they wrote on the article is made up, it might come to 360/PC after the PSN release but there’s no announcement or even rumors about it, the september release date is made up as well, the game was supposed to be out by now but the PSN downtime made them push it back just a few weeks, not three months

It would be nice to get some kind of official word on the supposed 360/PC versions. As far as I know this has only officially been announced for PS3, but none of the news sites seem to be able to agree on whether it’s an exclusive or not.

“So far, we focus on consoles” That’s what’s written on their facebook forums. I don’t have access to Facebook at work so I just got that from Google and will check it this evening, but it seems to me they’re planning on doing an Xbox360 release too.

I imagine the issue with an XBLA release is that they need to find a publishing partner.

Lexis Numerique can self-publish the game on PSN and PC, not so the 360, and Microsoft won’t publish it because there’ll be no exclusivity window in it for them.

The PSN release is the only one mentioned on Lexis Numérique’s website for AMY as well as for their other games (they’re releasing three new games, including one for children). Xbox360 release seems to be fading lol
