MGS, ZoE HD remasters to get PSN, XBLA releases

The HD collections for Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders, both announced during Konami’s pre-E3 press conference, will also get digital releases, according to the English web portal of the Kojima Productions E3 website.

The contents of the collections – MGS2: Sons of Liberty, MGS3: Snake Eater and MGS: Peace Walker HD, as well as ZoE1 and ZoE: The Second Runner – will get PSN and Xbox Live Arcade releases, according to both listings for the collection on the site.

“Digital Download Versions are planned to be distributed via PlayStationStore, Xbox Live ARCADE,” it reads for both MGS and Zone of the Enders pages.

In addition, for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PS3, a code for the PSP version of Peace Walker will be included.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection launches this November on PS3 and 360. The Zone of the Enders HD Collection releases in 2012 for the same platforms.

can somebody explain how this transfarring work exactly?

so you transfer save gave from ps3 to psp?
and you can play it just like that? no need of having the same MGS game on psp?

how is that possible man?
i swear you would need the same game on both psp and ps3:/

@4, you need PS3 and PSP copies of Transfarring enabled games.

you just can transfer your saves and thats it.

So wait, i’ll be able to load my Peace Walker PSP save on the PS3 version? …But i’ve got a cleared game, so will i automatically unlock all of the trophies?

my poor PS3 has only 40GB HDD and %80 of it is… I don’t really know what it is… to be able to download dead nation I had to clear up space… I still want retial version :( and I was truly hoping for PC version of MGS collection, why Kojima-san, why… why you hate me so much? :( (

Konami is stupid.Why didn’t they rekame MGS 1-3?Who needs a Peace Walker remake?It alredy looks good on the PSP.That just doesn’t make any sense to me.-_-

@17 dude, remake is a long and expensive process. They are trying to make new games they cannot and will not spend their whole life remaking their old games.

@22 – Well MGS2: Substance was released for the original Xbox, but it apparently isn’t compatible with the 360. DaMan only said it was on Xbox. So you are both right :)

it’s because he’s working on this and Sony announced the PsP remastered

I THINK KOJIMA PLAN IS TO DOMINATE ALL PLATFORM, THUS INCREASING FAN BASE THUS MAKING A HUGE AMOUNT OF $$.

YES HE DOESN’T MIND DELAYING GAMES AS LONG AS HE CREATES A FULLY OPERATIONAL CROSS PLATFORM GAME DESIGN ENGINE !! VERY CLEVER OF HIM…NO WONDER WHY HE CREATED SNAKE UNLESS HE THINKS AND ACTS LIKE SNAKE

@31 i think this is the situation:as it stands mgs1 is a download only option on the psn.In japan instead of having pw in the collection they have a download code for mgs1 whereas over here we dont get mgs1 as we get pw in the collection.

so what you are trying to say is that, if I buy HD remake I can download a PsP code that has the full game so Transfarring can work on both?

if that is the case then cool!

but no way in hell they would suceed if we are required to own both retail games for ps3 and psp:/
