Rumour – Castlevania: Harmony of Despair coming to PS3

Siliconera‘s rumouring this morning that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is coming to PS3. The site didn’t drop any more details, though. The title, based on its old 8-bit looks, launched last summer for Xbox Live Arcade as part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade line-up last year.

If this is real, you might hear something at Konami’s pre-E3 event on Thursday.

Nothing to get particularly excited about, PS3ers. It’s not very good. In fact I’d probably go as far as to say that it’s ‘rubbish’.

The music’s good. And it looks nice. But it’s practically unplayable single-player, it really NEEDS a party of like-minded chaps to get anywhere.

Basically it looks the part of a smashing 2D Castlevania, but it’s actually a multi-player-only time-attack thing. Which was pretty much exactly what I didn’t want.

Multiplayer centric? Time attack? Thank you for saving my money!

They kept on saying the game is multiplayer centric from the very beginning..
