Report - Sakaguchi says Last Story western localisation is inbound

LiveWii's reporting that Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi confirmed to French gaming press recently that The Last Story will be localised for Europe.

Sakaguchi apparently made the comments in Paris during a recent visit.

The Last Story released back at the start of the year for Wii in Japan, but a western localisation has been asked for by Mistwalker fans since the RPG launched.

Nintendo said to VG247 in January that it had "no plans" to localise the game at the time.

It's not the first time within the past 24 hours a western release has been mentioned, though. During MCM Expo this past weekend in London, a Nintendo UK rep apparently said that a localisation was coming.

If this is happening, expect a full formal announcement at E3 next week.

Thanks, GoNintendo.
