CD Projekt delays Witcher II patch release

CD Projekt's confirmed that update 1.1 for The Witcher II is now ready, but has delayed its release due to technical complications.

In a news update on the game's official website, CDP said that it had gone up against problems relating to its severs.

"The good news is that the patch is ready. The bad news is that we have encountered some problems with the server infrastructure, making downloading DLCs impossible," it said.

"We want to apologize to our fans for not meeting our target of delivering the patch last night. We will update you when we know more."

Expecting the update to drop at the same time, CD Projekt detailed the update for the RPG yesterday The update will feature a simpler game installation and activation, fixed the free DLC pack Troll Trouble, random crashes and more,
