Microsoft looking into Xbox Live Marketplace outage

Microsoft has confirmed to us it's currently working on resolving issues revolving around an outage on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Following reports around the 'net, we've checked Marketplace to find that there's no content from the Game Marketplace section. When going into a sub-section, such as Games on Demand, you're greeted with a box and the message "No Content Available."

Selecting a box with 360's wave art does nothing. Microsoft didn't give a reason why it was down, but it said it was looking to resolve the matter immediately.

"Users may experience difficulties with the following services: Browsing Indie Games from the Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com, browsing the Games for Windows - LIVE Marketplace on a PC, Browsing Games Marketplace from the Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com," a Microsoft UK rep told VG247 in a statement.

"We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience."

To be clear on this, Live itself isn't down. You can still access your friends list and play online. Go play Halo Reach while you wait for it to come back.
