LA Noire launch trailer shows murderous intent

Definitely sure this is going to be anything but shit. Really looking like this’ll be brilliant.

i went into the bookies and asked what are the odds on l.a noire being total turd, he grinned and begged me to hand over as much money as possible

Really looking forward to play this.

May 20th cant come fast enough.

Must be a reason they don’t like showing gameplay hardly ever…has me worried

Go to the site they have videos explaining different aspects of the game those have plenty of gameplay.

Still not excited….dunno why.

I’ve seen all the trailers. Oddly enough, even the “gameplay” ones still don’t even show that much actual gameplay, certainly not “plenty”. Still worried……and not as excited as I’d hoped to be.

I saw all the videos and its enough game play to suffice. This game is not a sandbox or a combat heavy game. So I saw what I needed the see ie how the dialogue is handled, and using and finding clues. Thats all this game is about.

Seems sort of like an enhanced point and click then………that’s what has me worried.

I preordered it, i just afraid thats it’s not up to the ROCKSTAR quality.

Animations? TOP NOTCH.

Everything else? Looks not so great.

I want to say Yes there is combat they did show some of that but it wasn’t that in depth much like GTA in that respect.

Well, in it’s defense, the animation is a must see, and I dug Heavy Rain, so I’ll give this a shot

The hand to hand combat and shooting are just a few things in the game, it won’t be the number one thing in this game. But in the gameplay videos it looked fine by me. I loved GTA IV, but the hand to hand combat and shooting wasn’t all that good at all. MUCH better in RDR, in LA Noire it seems fine

I usually pick games that are story centric if it has great gameplay and new concepts thats a huge plus for me. SO LA Noire is right up my alley.

I remember when nobody knew about this game, back when it was delayed several times. Everybody doubted this game and look at it know. As soon as the first trailer hit, everybody started paying attention. The only way this game could surprise me is if the game sucks, otherwise I know it’s going to be great!

This trailer is rather bland, if compared to the previous ones.

Team Bondi could have pulled way better stuff if they wanted and, considering common people will only loook at the “release” trailer to make judgements, I don’t understand why they did such a bad video.

I’ll be sure to keep an eye on the reviews for this one.

What I’ve seen so far hasn’t inspired me enough for me to buy this (regardless of the publisher) on day one to be honest.

@22 – i can imagine this being similar to RDR for me. Regardless of the reviews if you just feel that it isnt for you then dont bother.

I bought RDR after everyone kept saying to and seeing the reviews and all i got out of it was the feeling that i had just played one of the most overrated games ever made =/

Nope. This isn’t my bag. I know for a fact that if I bought this game I’ll probably play for a while then get bored of the structure. As I did with GTAIV and RDR. They sit there in the pile. This would be one of those pile games.
