Professor Layton series ships 12 million worldwide
Level 5 has announced that the Professor Layton series has shipped 12 million units worldwide since its inception in 2007. Four titles in the series have launched on DS, with a fifth – The Mask of Miracle – appearing on 3DS. A sixth game is in development, according to Level 5 boss Akihiro Hino.

The missus has the first one and I keep trying to play it and getting fed up with it. I like the puzzles, I just can’t be bothered with all the bits with Layton in it. I wish you could ditch the story and the exploring and just do the puzzles without all the bullshit.

#1 well i did like the puzzles too, but let me tell you the main draw to me was the story it was like watching anime, and man how do i love anime too, hey hence my name 8D.
