Coming soon to XBL: L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass add-on, pirate-themed sale, Bing promo

Tuesday, 10th May 2011 22:23 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Microsoft has sent out a release schedule for what to expect on the Xbox Live service for the rest of May, and one thing of not in it was the mention of something called the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass add-on.

According to the Xbox Live Newsbeat mail:

Battle the L.A. underworld in L.A. Noire on May 17: In celebration of launch on May 17, take your “L.A. Noire” experience to the next level and download the “L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass” add-on or deck your avatar out in “L.A. Noire” themed Avatar apparel – all available on Xbox LIVE (800 MSP).

Joystiq, like us, seems to think it could be one of two things: the he pre-order bonus content which was already announced as “for purchase item” after the game comes out; or new content for all owners of the game.

We’ve sent a mail to Rockstar, but as of press time, they have yet to get back with us.

So, other than that tidbit, there’s more coming your way between now and May 23, such as a Fable 3 demo on Games for Windows Live and Sega Rally Online Arcade hitting Games on Demand.

There’s also a Bing promotion worth reading about, also posted below, which will net you XBL rewards.

I remember reading this is like a mixture of Sega Rally 3 with new Revo. Can’t wait – L0VE the original, and liked Revo just never got around to buying it.

Only Americans. They don’t care if Europeans use Bing or not, apparently.
