Bethesda’s confirmed that it’ll still release the PS3 version of multiplayer-focused shooter Brink this Friday in the UK despite the ongoing crisis surrounding PSN. A rep for the publisher told EG: “We’re still going ahead with launch this week.” Bethesda US has told GiantBomb it’s also going ahead with its launch tomorrow. And there you have it.

Watch the launch trailer for it here and read our launch interview with Splash Damage boss Paul Wedgwood here.

PC version for me given PSN downtime. Either way, Splash Damage get the money so it’s all good.

Well from what I’ve read the single player is the same as the multiplayer, but with bots. So no psn will give you time to practice :)

Obvious downsides are the fact you’ll be playing against bots & if you’ve pre-ordered on ps3, good luck on getting your bonus dlc :/

Can’t imagine you can just re-schedule a massive launch like that, too much at stake.
