Rumour: E3 unveiling of HD update for "major PS franchise"

PSM3 magazine has teased that another beloved series from yester-year is to receive shiny new HD game collection. Is Snake about to sneak into HD?
“The current trend of classic games being remade in HD like Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia is set to continue with a major PS franchise set to reveal its new HD glory at E3,” teased the magazine. “No clues. But you’ll like it.”
A rumour back in January suggested that a MGS trilogy update could be on the cards, though we've heard nothing since.
The E3 rumors are just getting started, apparently. Come on, June.
