InFamous 2 beta sign ups open

Sign ups for the inFamous 2 beta - you know, the one that gives you access to all those sweet level creation tools - have opened. Come through for details on how to put your name in the hat.

According to the US PS Blog, US citizens can sign up on the local inFamous 2 page from today.

Eager beavers will need to register on the website - even if they've done so in the past - and select the "UGC sweepstakes" option.

You'll only have a window of one week to sign up, although those who do put their name forward may receive an entry code in one of several staggered hand outs, beginning early April.

For those who fall under the European banner, the EU PS Blog reports that only PS Plus subscribers will be granted access, and not all of them either. More details are promised soon.

The beta itself kicks off on April 12. Levels created during the beta will be auto-populated to inFamous 2 players worldwide when the game launches.
