Mortal Kombat’s Liu Kang detailed in gameplay trailer
Story’s for the weak. There’s a tournament, and Liu Kang can punch people so hard their skulls explode. What more do you want?
The video shows the fight legend’s kicks and flames. There’s plenty to take in there.
The game is being developed by the newly re-named NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon. It’s out for PS3 and 360 this year.

I’m uploading a YouTube version now. The compression on that’s rubbish. The original’s in 720p. Looks much better in HD (obv).

I’m still in awe from the Noob Saibot combos video. He was sick. Liu isn’t bad though. Much better than some of his previous versions.

The combos look neat but don’t be fooled those take a lot of skill to pull off people especially on the 360 controller. Why is it every damn MK trailer I see Sub-Zero is getting his ass kicked? ….Does Ed Boon not like Sub-Zero anymore or something? WTH the guy had his own side story video game. Sub-Zero is the man screw Liu Kang.

yea…that’s the problem with fighting games, when it gives players too much option and free combos, they can create moves that would devastate you and moves you can’t get out off:/
sadly this game is mainly aimed at the hardcore fighters. Ones who would spend time on Training and trying to figure out best moves and cheap moves.

We’ve already seen a lot of Kitana. I want Kratos or Shao Kahn trailers.
