Crysis 2 gets infected with story trailer

Graphics and gameplay is going to be amazing because it’s CRYTEK and they know what they are doing since Far Cry 1.

After playing a bit of singleplayer campaign on my PC i can tell that this game will be amazing while shitty Killzone, CoD, Battlefield, Resistance 3 sup bar campaigns will be forgotten and left in the dust and no one will care.

Also, just by playing old build of direct X9. Game on consoles looks like a CRAP version with Direct X 9 on top of it. With “Gamer” settings. (Lowest ever possible)
Someone on Neogaf tells that it’s not even 720p on 360 by showing just a multiplayer screenshot… Wow… =\ sup-bar HD incoming. Just shows the age of consoles and that we need new one, because i will play it with 1080p, Direct X 11, 39-60 FPS.

On topic, it looks very nice, but so maannny FPS out in the market already, I honestly wish and hope that Battlefield 3 will take it all down [no offense, but we need more variety in games].

getting this on either ps3 or 360, dont care how much some stranger on the internet has laid out on their pc, it will obviously be the superior version but i dont pc game so i’m not bothered. awesome trailer, that music is fantastic.

I’m definitely interested in this but I’m still waiting to see the PS3 version. It’s very conspicuous by its absence, but as my PC needs an upgrade and my 360 is being even noisier than usual Sony’s platform would be my hardware of choice, all things being equal.

Major Leak from Crytek. I’m going to buy this game 100% anyway because it’s an early piece of crap build with only Direct X9 and with lags.

I heard about the leak – I just didn’t think that the VG247 folks would be contributing to the download figures for a pirated piece of software (whether you intend to buy it later or not) which will likely result in Crysis 3 being console only:

@StolenGlory, relax, i for example downloaded it for only one reason: To check my machine and on what fps can it run. So i could know by the launch date if everything was fine and if i need some upgrade.

Also, Xbox 360 have a beta and PC gamers that wanted this most of all didn’t get anything. Even a PC trailer.

Also, the build is a bit broken. So i don’t know who had the balls to complete it when a lot of stuff screwed. If you don’t know, shitty Half-Life 2 build was leaked almost by a year before the release.

and Crysis 3 will not be a console only, NEVER because for CRYTEK PC is very important platform and to be honest, that build does not look like a leak, more like a PR stunt from Crytek.

Killzone 3 looks tons better compared to the console versions of Crysis2 (what we have seen so far of both games) but it wont be better looking than Crysis2 on PC, it just wont.

@21 It doesnt rape anything. People need to stop praising Crysis like it is a God like game. Even its graphics are not that far ahead. It still looks very unrealistic and cartoon like just like the rest of the games out. Yes its got some cool shiney new features and effects but its not “Miles (kilometers? lol)” ahead of the best console graphics or other top PC game graphics. It is indeed ahead, by a lot, by not enough to say it Rapes anything.

I do remember watching the videos for the original Crysis and thinking “Holy shit!” only to find out that pulling those movies in the finished game meant navigating a bunch of menus which meant that I couldn’t be arsed to fuck with it.

Besides, Killzone 3 is THEE best looking FPS on consoles. KZ2 looked great and all but Killzone 3 blows it away and thats coming from only seeing the BETA. If the Beta looks that much better than KZ2 then expect the finaly build to be stunning.
