Mortal Kombat costume DLC included with Blu-ray purchases

Unless you feel 1995′s Mortal Kombat and 1997′s Mortal Kombat: Annihilation are films assuredly destined for your collection, you’ll have to weigh your insistence on only supporting quality cinema with your obsessive need to play dress ups with virtual characters.

Blu-Ray.com has revealed that purchase of either film’s Blu-ray rewards players with a voucher to download an extra costume for Jade.

We’ve dropped a line to Warner Bros. to find out if it’s an exclusive item, or whether you’ll be able to grab it off the console networks later.

Both Blu-rays release on April 19, alongside the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360-bound Mortal Kombat revamp.

Thanks, Joystiq.

Costume dlc might be the weakest pile of wank in this dlc infested world we live in. On-the-disc-unlock bullshit.
