Curve Studios has announced a February release for its PlayStation Network-bound retro platformer Explodemon, putting a countdown on our impatience to jump about the place blowing stuff up.

Originally announced as a PC and WiiWare release, Explodemon has since trod the path of PSN exclusivity and arrives on February 8.

Sporting 12 levels and eight hours of gameplay, the neat little SNES-esque title will set you back £7.99 or local equivalent.

Still unsure? Check out this somewhat ancient but just as explosive trailer.
