Eight-pack of Johnny Cash tracks hitting Rock Band 3 today

Harmonix has announced Rock Band 3 will get a heaping-helping dose of the Man in Black today.

If you think you can handle singing in a deep baritone, you'll enjoy the following tracks for PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 starting today:

  • Cry, Cry, Cry
  • Don’t Take Your Guns to Town
  • Five Feet High and Rising
  • Folsom Prison Blues
  • I Got Stripes
  • I Walk the Line (X)
  • Tennessee Flat Top Box (X)
  • The Ballad of Ira Hayes (X)

Each track will run you $1.99 individually on Xbox 360 and PS3 and $2.00 on Wii. The Johnny Cash Pack 01 will run you $13.49. As always, songs available for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Songs marked with an "X" feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades for an additional $0.99. European PS3 users will be able to download the tracks January 5.

If Cash isn't your bag, you can also get the following nine tracks for free, which were previously released for Rock Band - one of which is a highly fun Bang Camaro song:

  • Bang Camaro – Night Lies
  • Breaking Wheel – Shoulder to the Plow

These tracks will be released as Rock Band Free Pack 01.
