Tony Hawk: Shred US TV ad has a moving house

shred

Honestly.

Evil Avatar‘s snagged the US TV ad for Tony Hawk: Shred, which shows both the skateboarding and the new snowboarding aspects of the game.

And in case you didn’t get the memo, you still have to use the board that was first introduced last year with Ride.

Watch at the end to see a pissed off Hawkmeister as you destroy his car.

Get it below.

Tony Hawk: Shred is out now in the US and out this Friday in the UK for PS3, 360 and Wii.

I’d play a game where you’d skate/snow board your entire house.
Shred, though? No, thanks.

They tried it with a moving carpet last year, can’t tell you how many people asked where they would put the carpet!

Fuck knows what they’ll make of this! :D

I’m still pretty much astounded that they went with the ridiculous peripheral again. Was there anyone who actually liked it last time around?

Well Activision obviously doesn’t want to actually sell any copies if that’s the way they advertise it.

@Blerk – Do you think maybe they’ve still got stacks of unsold peripheral’s from RIDE that they are just reskinning and selling?

I’m damned sure they have. I’m also damned sure they’ll still have them after this Christmas. :-D

My flatmate bought Ride when it came out, hes an old skater and thought it might be fun.

Its impossible to use well. Theres no way to actually input accurately 100% of the time, the board does what it wants to do. Most of the time we just thought the game was playing itself because very little of what he was doing was replicated on the screen.
