Live Duke Nukem demo footage arrives, shows urinal

Some live footage from a secret Duke Nukem demo has emerged, with Gearbox Software’s Randy Pitchford, presenting the game.
Duke Nukem has been 12 years in the making, as referenced in a rather amusing way within the demo itself.
The presentation below seems to show the same footage Steph saw last month, before she interviewed Pitchford for VG247.
This marks the first time anyone outside the press – i.e., “the internet” – has seen the footage, and it looks pretty hot.
Gearbox announced last month it will be releasing Duke Nukem Forever next year.
Thanks, PCGames.de.

Fantastic, they might have managed to keep the Duke Humour and kept it funny. The game actually looks good

It’s not much of a secret demo. Filmed during Firstlook, a 2-day gaming event in Holland.

That does look pretty elaborate. Fuck knows the genre needs some goold ol’ fashioned fun pumped back into it. Bring out the Duke!

Great but WHERE THE HELL is Aliens: Colonial Marines Gearbox is supposed to be working on? AVP3 was complete garbage.

They are working on it, it’s just not the priority right now.

Went to First Look last year, it was crowded and boring. Now they bring out Duke? Looks like they finally got their act together.

That actually looks pretty polished…not that that should be a surprise after 12years-ish in development. I still have a magazine floating around at home somewhere with screenshots from the first UE version. I bought that mag when I was in school!
Certainly will be picking this up

So the the game was so much fun with JSJ back as Duke’s voice and the best thing i always wanted to see in the game is breaking the fourth wall.Loved when Duke admitted that the game took so long and it should be a total pile of awesomeness.
This game is gonna be the talk of the hour next year.
Can’t muffin wait.
