Something Mega Man this way comes, teases Capcom

See that picture? That’s the entirety of a recent post on the Capcom Unity blog. What ever could it mean? We’ve got a couple guesses.

First off, a little Capcom Comic-Con schedule-shaped bird told us that Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune’s making an “exciting new game announcement” on July 22 at Comic Con.

So, we’ve got the presumable “when,” but how about the “what”? Obviously, we’re just speculating, but that Mega Man Universe trademark from a couple months back is looking mighty ripe right now.

Or maybe we’re completely off-bass base. Maybe the announcement of the long-awaited Mega Man: Network Transmission sequel is imminent. Because it’s not like everyone on the face of the planet completely forgot about that game or anything.

Arc system works (Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Hard Corps: Uprising) have a count down on there website for the 23/07 which (i think) coincides with the day Capcom are presenting at Comic-con

That cannot be a real instrument.

The fish, I mean. This world is just insane enough that I have no doubt in my mind that a quadruple-necked bass exists somewhere.

@9: Oops, would you look at that? My ears just hung themselves. I always knew hair metal would at least kill a part of my body – if not all of it.

Does no one want to see Mega Man X Reprised the same way that Mega Man 9 was, ill take a Mega Man X9 instead

I for one think 8-bit look was great for the original Megaman, but for X I think his PS1-era look would be more fitting.
